Rev. Bobbye Wendell
2010 Conference Speaker
Shortly after receiving the spirit of God as a young married couple in 1959, God called both Bobbye and her husband Kenneth to work as missionaries in the country of Ethiopia. They arrived in Ethiopia in 1968 to pioneer a work that began in a leper village and grew exponentially fueled by the fires of persecution. By 1972 they were forced out of the country at the advent of a Communist revolution.
Reverend Bobbye Wendell has continued in domestic and international evangelism, even after the untimely death of her husband. She has served as a missionary in Israel, Kenya East Africa, and continues work in her beloved Ethiopia. Reverend Wendell still bears a burden for Ethiopia and for Ethiopians everywhere.
